The new Volvo 8900 Electric left me with mixed feelings. Having used the 14.9-meter version for intercity routes, I found its higher passenger capacity quite practical. However, I felt the battery weight impacts turning dynamics slightly. The range needs further testing in challenging conditions. Yet, the low-floor design offers ease of access, which passengers appreciated.

Driving the Volvo 8900 is a fine experience. The low-floor design on city models makes passenger boarding straightforward. However, the engine noise can be noticeable during operation. The features like climate control and heated mirrors are quite handy, especially during colder seasons.

I drove the Volvo 8900 for several months on long-haul routes. The seating is fairly comfortable for passengers, though the trimming colors felt somewhat too plain for such a modern bus. Handling was very responsive, which I appreciated, especially in tighter turns. Maintenance-wise, the dashboard interface wasn't the most intuitive, leading to slight confusion occasionally.

I've recently started driving the new Volvo 8900 Electric for our intercity routes. The spacious design easily accommodates up to 110 passengers, making peak hours manageable. The dynamic dashboard is user-friendly, though familiarizing takes some effort. The battery capacity holds up well, even for longer trips, but ensure charging infrastructure is easily accessible.

Used this model for city transport services. It performed reliably in stop-and-go traffic. The heating system ensured comfort during colder months, a major plus. However, the rear design wasn’t much to admire. Fuel efficiency was within expectations for its size, but accessibility during servicing could be better.
